Terms & Conditions
Version: 29.10.2026
Organizer: Anna Buttkus und Christin Schröder GbR, registered address see contact, the “Organizer”.
Event: Kunoichi Taikai Berlin, taking place from 17.9.2027 to 19.09.2027 at Sportpark Strausberg, Germany (the “Event”).
Website: [kunoichi.berlin] (the “Website”).
1. Scope and Contract
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of tickets and any optional additional services for Kunoichi Taikai Berlin through the Website or an official ticketing platform linked on the Website.
1.2 By completing a ticket purchase, the customer (“Attendee” or “you”) accepts these Terms. The Terms must be made available to the Attendee in a clearly identifiable manner before the purchase is completed.
1.3 The contract is concluded with the Organizer, not with the ticketing provider, unless expressly stated otherwise. If tickets are sold through a third-party platform, that platform may have separate terms governing its technical services.
1.4 These Terms are available in English.
2. Tickets, Prices and Payment
2.1 Tickets are personal and entitle the named holder to attend Kunoichi Taikai Berlin during the advertised opening/training times. The ticket price and any booking or service fees are displayed before checkout.
2.2 Payment is due immediately upon ordering, using the payment methods offered during checkout. The purchase is complete only after the Organizer or ticketing provider confirms the order by email.
2.3 The Attendee must present the electronic ticket or booking confirmation and a valid photo ID at registration. The Organizer may refuse admission if the ticket cannot be assigned to the person presenting it.
2.4 The Organizer may decline or cancel an order if there is a technical pricing error, suspected fraud, payment failure, or another legitimate reason. In such a case, any payment already received will be refunded without undue delay.
2.5 Lost, stolen, damaged, or inaccessible digital tickets are the responsibility of the Attendee. The Organizer may, at its discretion, reissue a ticket after suitable proof of purchase.
3. Right of Withdrawal
3.1 For tickets for a leisure activity provided on a specific date or within a specific period, German law generally excludes the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. This applies in particular to event tickets.
3.2 If a statutory right of withdrawal nevertheless applies to a particular purchase, the statutory withdrawal rules and the cancellation instructions provided at checkout apply.
3.3 Any voluntary cancellation option offered by the Organizer is governed exclusively by Section 4.
4. Cancellation by the Attendee and Ticket Transfer
4.1 Unless stated otherwise on the Event page, the following voluntary cancellation scale applies to cancellations requested by the Attendee in writing to [contact email]:
More than 90 days before the first Event day: refund of 75% of the ticket price.
90 days or fewer before the first Event day: no refund.
4.2 The cancellation date is the date on which the Attendee’s written cancellation is received by the Organizer.
4.3 Ticket transfers to another person are permitted until 48 hours before the start of the first Event day, provided the new attendee meets the Event’s participation requirements. The transfer must be made through the ticketing platform where technically available, or notified to [contact email] with the original order details and the new attendee’s name and contact information.
4.4 Optional add-ons, such as accododamtion, catering tickets or merchandise, can only be refunded together with the main Event ticket under the same cancellation scale. After the cancellation deadline, no partial refund is available for add-ons.
4.5 The Organizer recommends that Attendees consider obtaining suitable cancellation, travel, health, or accident insurance from an insurance provider of their choice.
5. Cancellation, Postponement or Material Changes by the Organizer
5.1 The Organizer may make reasonable changes to the schedule, instructors, programme, room allocation, or venue, provided the overall character of the Event is not substantially altered.
5.2 If the Event is cancelled entirely, Attendees are entitled to a refund of the ticket price actually paid, including unavoidable and transparently disclosed ticketing fees where legally required. Refunds will be made using the original payment method where possible.
5.3 If the Event is postponed to a new date, Attendees may either use their ticket for the new date or request a refund of the ticket price within 14 days after announcement of the new date. A refund request must be sent to [contact email].
5.4 If only parts of the programme are changed, or a named instructor is replaced by another qualified instructor, this does not ordinarily entitle the Attendee to a refund, unless the change materially alters the Event’s agreed character.
5.5 The Organizer is not liable for Attendees’ travel, accommodation, or other indirect costs arising from a cancellation or postponement, except where the Organizer is legally responsible for such damages.
6. Force Majeure and Event Interruption
6.1 If the Event cannot be held, or can only be held in part, because of circumstances beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control—including natural disasters, serious public-health measures, official prohibitions, war, civil unrest, strikes, or serious infrastructure failures—the Organizer will inform Attendees without undue delay.
6.2 In such cases, the Organizer will first examine whether the Event can be postponed or offered in an appropriate alternative form. If this is not possible, Attendees will receive a refund in accordance with Section 5.2, taking into account any services already rendered.
6.3 The Organizer does not accept liability for consequential costs incurred by Attendees, such as non-refundable travel or accommodation costs, unless the Organizer is legally liable for them.
7. Participation, Health and Conduct
7.1 Participation in physical training and related activities is voluntary and at the Attendee’s own risk. Attendees are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and medically able to participate.
7.2 Attendees must follow the instructions of the Organizer, venue staff, and instructors, as well as the venue’s house rules and any applicable association or dojo guidelines.
7.3 The minimum age for independent participation is 18 years. Minors may participate only with a valid ticket and when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult who accepts responsibility for the minor throughout the Event. Additional parental consent documentation may be required.
7.4 All attendees are required to follow the house regulations of the local training hall as well as the Bujinkan Hombu guidelines. The Organizer may refuse entry to, or remove from the Event, any person who endangers others, violates these Terms or venue rules, is intoxicated, engages in abusive or discriminatory conduct, or otherwise seriously disrupts the Event. In cases of removal for conduct reasons, the ticket price will not be refunded.
7.5 Attendees must disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or other limitations where necessary for safe participation, particularly when registering for practical training or catering.
7.6 Some training sessions will be held outside. Please dress accordingly.
8. Photography, Video and Media
8.1 The Organizer may photograph, record, or livestream parts of the Event for documentation, internal purposes, and promotion. Where possible, Attendees will be informed of recording areas.
8.2 By attending, Attendees consent to the recording and use of their image or voice in Event-related media, unless they object in writing before the Event or during the Event to [contact email]. Objections will be respected as far as technically and legally possible.
8.3 Unless expressly permitted by the Organizer, Attendees may not take photographs or videos during training sessions. Photography and filming may be permitted before or after sessions and during breaks, subject to venue rules and the privacy rights of other attendees.
8.4 Event materials, including presentations, handouts, training content, and official recordings, are protected by copyright. They may not be copied, shared, published, or commercially used without the Organizer’s prior written consent.
9. Merchandise, Catering and Additional Services
9.1 Merchandise and catering are optional services and are not included in the standard Event ticket unless expressly stated.
9.2 Merchandise purchased in advance will be handed over at the Event upon presentation of the order confirmation. Merchandise will not be shipped unless a separate shipping option and fee have been expressly offered.
9.3 For catering, the respective caterer is responsible for food preparation and allergen information. Attendees with allergies or dietary requirements should contact [caterer/contact email] in advance. The Organizer does not guarantee that all dietary requirements can be accommodated.
9.4 Statutory consumer rights and warranty rights for defective goods or services remain unaffected.
10. Liability
10.1 Participation in physical martial-arts or similar training involves inherent risks, including bruises, sprains, falls, and more serious injuries. Attendees must train responsibly, use appropriate protective equipment where required, and stop participating if they feel unwell or unsafe.
10.2 No sharp, pointed, or metallic weapons are to be brought to the training venue.
10.3 Detail are set out in the Liability Disclaimer and Acknowledgement of Risk available at below.
11. Data Protection
11.1 Personal data is collected and processed only as necessary to handle ticket orders, fulfil the contract, comply with legal obligations, and, where consent has been given, for marketing purposes.
11.2 Details on the controller, legal bases, retention periods, recipients, and Attendee rights are set out in the Privacy Policy available at Privacy Policy URL.
12. Changes to These Terms
12.1 The Organizer may update these Terms for future purchases. The version applicable is the version displayed on the Website at the time of purchase.
12.2 For already purchased tickets, material changes affecting the Attendee’s rights will be communicated by email or through the ticketing platform. They do not retroactively reduce statutory rights.
13. Final Provisions
13.1 These Terms and the ticket contract are governed by German law.
13.2 If the Attendee is a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection provisions and jurisdictional protections remain applicable. Otherwise, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
13.3 Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. The invalid provision will be replaced by the legally permissible provision that most closely reflects its economic purpose.

Liability Disclaimer
Liability Disclaimer and Acknowledgement of Risk
Kunoichi Taikai Berlin
I acknowledge that participation in martial-arts and self-defence training at the Kunoichi Taikai Berlin involves physical exertion and inherent risks. Despite careful instruction and supervision, injuries—including bruises, sprains, strains, falls, and in exceptional cases serious injury—cannot be entirely ruled out.
I confirm that I participate voluntarily and that I am physically able to take part in the training. I am responsible for assessing my own state of health and for seeking medical advice before participating if I have any doubt about my fitness or medical condition.
I undertake to inform the instructor immediately of any illness, injury, medication, physical limitation, or sudden change in my condition, including nausea, dizziness, pain, palpitations, or comparable symptoms. I will stop training if I feel unwell or unsafe.
I acknowledge that martial arts and self-defence are contact activities. I will train responsibly, follow the instructions of the instructors and venue staff, and avoid conduct that could endanger myself or others.
The Organizer, instructors, guest instructors, their legal representatives, and assistants are liable in accordance with applicable German law. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for injury to life, body, or health and liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
The Organizer accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal property, valuables, or clothing, except where such loss or damage results from intent, gross negligence, or a breach of a material contractual duty for which the Organizer is legally responsible. Attendees are advised not to bring unnecessary valuables to the training venue.
I acknowledge that participation in the training is not automatically covered by accident insurance. I am responsible for arranging adequate personal accident, health, and travel insurance if desired or necessary. The Organizer recommends that Attendees review their insurance coverage before the Event.
By purchasing a ticket and activating the required confirmation checkbox, I confirm that I have had the opportunity to read, understand, and accept this Liability Disclaimer and Acknowledgement of Risk before completing my purchase.
Participation of Minors
Participation in the Event is generally restricted to persons aged 18 or older.
Minors may participate only if they are accompanied throughout the entire Event by their parent or legal guardian, who must also hold a valid Event ticket and participate in the Event. The accompanying parent or legal guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor’s supervision, safety, conduct, and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, the Liability Disclaimer and Acknowledgement of Risk, and all instructions given by the Organizer, instructors, and venue staff.
The Organizer may require proof of guardianship and the identity of both the minor and the accompanying parent or legal guardian. If the required accompanying parent or legal guardian is not present, the minor may be refused participation or removed from the Event without refund.
The accompanying parent or legal guardian confirms that the minor is physically able to participate and that they have read, understood, and accepted the Terms and Conditions, including the Liability Disclaimer and Acknowledgement of Risk, on behalf of themselves and the minor.
